T Minus 41 days -- NO SNAKES!
I was about to type that this has absolutely nothing to do with my trip, but then I got an idea....
Backstory: there's a movie coming out called Snakes on a Plane which my friend Drea hipped us to. It stars Samuel L Jackson and looks to be an instant cult classic.
Apparently the movie is also a huge phenomenon. Who knew? It's spawned:
- its own blog ;
- A contest for a movie song ;
- The funniest comic ever !
Well....what does that have to do with me? I'll be on a plane. With a camera. And sitting at home on top of the TV is a stuffed snake. You get the picture. :)

Apparently the famous quote of Sammy J's (MFSOAMFP) was originally NOT in the movie....but someone made a tape of someone who sounds like him saying it...and that was one reason why the movie was reshot in 2005--to add the quote.
